连轧机是一种可以提高劳动生产率和轧制之类的先进方法。其主要特点是被扎金属同时处于若干机架之中，并沿着同一放向进行轧制形成一定的断面行状。
　　而连轧机的电气传动则应在保证物质流量恒定的前提下承受咬合刚和轧制是的冲击性负载，实现机架的各部分控制和协调控制。每个机架的上下轧辊共用一台电动机实现集中拖动，不同机架采用不同电动机实现部分传动，各机架轧辊之间的速度则按物质流量恒定原理用速度链实现协调控制。
　　物质流量不变的要求应在稳态和过渡过程中得到满足，因此，需对过渡过程时间和超调量提出相应的限制。

The upper and lower rollers of each frame share a motor to achieve centralized driving. Different frames use different motors to achieve partial transmission. The speed between the rolls of each frame is coordinated by the speed chain according to the principle of constant material flow.
　　The requirement of constant material flow should be satisfied in the steady-state and transition processes. Therefore, the corresponding limits on the time and overshoot of the transition process must be put forward.
